Veterans Prayer Service–All are Welcome
We will have a  Veterans Prayer service from 8:30-9:00 on Friday, November 10. All are welcome to attend.

Wednesday, November 22 Presentations–Parents Invited and Encouraged to Attend
As part of our day before Thanksgiving activities, we will be hosting two speakers. At 9:00, Clara Aramayo will speak. She is a forensic analyst with the Crimes Against Children Division of the Homeland Security Department. She will present on the online dangers to teens, the causes of teens to break the laws online, and the overall dangers associated with meeting strangers through social media. Following this presentation, at approximately 10:00,  Wendy Giebink, the Executive Director for South Dakota’s Chapter of National Alliance on Mental Illness, will present to our students on better understanding mental health issues. Mass will then follow at 11:00. Parents are welcome to attend all or a portion of our time from 9:00-12:00.

St. Sebastian Scholarship
Click here to view information regarding the St. Sebastian Scholarship application.  Scholarships are available to all students who attend Catholic schools within the diocese.  The funds are available for non-sanctioned ATHLETIC program fees.  All applications must be completed and signed by the school principal.  This is verification that the applicant attends Catholic school.

Photos Needed for OGJH Yearbook
We are in the process of preparing the yearbook for this school year and need your help. We need as many candid photos of school-sponsored sports and events for this year.  If you or your student have appropriate photos that you would like to be considered for the yearbook, please e-mail them ***IN THEIR ORIGINAL DIGITAL FORMAT, NOT CROPPED*** to Mrs. Carol Nichols at cnichols@sfcss.org.

Tuesday, November 21: 2nd Quarter Mid-Terms given to students at the end of the day
Wednesday, November 22: Early Dismissal: 12:00 Noon (Mass at 11:00 a.m. prior to dismissal)
Thursday, November 23:  No School—Thanksgiving
Friday, November 24: No School Vacation Day
